Tools for making threaded holes.
With this tool you'll create threaded holes to use with G3/8" Fittings.
You'll need a 15mm drill.
These taps come in sets of two. The Tapper Tap, which is the first tap to be used to begin the thread, and the bottoming tap, which will finish the thread to the exact dimensions. The reason for this, is to avoid breakage, so the first tap of the set cuts only a portion of the material to create the thread and the second tap cuts the remaining. They are easily identifiable, the first tap has a more pronounced taper tip (which also helps to begin the thread, minimizing the initial force required) and the second tap has a much more parallel cutting area.
